BioI'm a mom. I'm a wife. I love being both of those most of the time. I have two boys, a 4 year-old and a new baby.
I love writing. I was a previous columnist for a small newspaper before said newspaper went out of business. You can read all of my old columns here under the clever tag "Column". Someday I want to be a writer who actually gets paid to write stuff.
Besides my non-fiction, which mostly is humorous parenting babble, I am an aspiring novelist. My writing is sharp, witty, emotional, maybe a little bit quirky and sometimes funny. A literary prodigy I am not, and I don't pretend to be. I write for fun, entertainment and a little excitement. I will probably never be published, but I'd still like to finish one of my many projects...someday...
I like music, I like to cook, read, spend time with family and friends, clear my head by writing silliness and participating in inane Facebook games and apps. My favorite things include polite children, Starbuck's, people that don't take themselves too seriously, things that make me laugh, bursts of creativity, bubble baths and Prozac.
