BioI'm a mom. I'm a wife. I love being both of those most of the time. I write a weekly column for my small-town newspaper which is full of all kinds of fun rants and musings about my Little Guy and what I think about things. Besides my non-fiction, which mostly is humorous parenting stuff, I am an aspiring novelist. My writing is sharp, witty, emotional, maybe a little bit quirky and sometimes funny. A literary prodigy I am not, and I don't pretend to be. I write for fun, entertainment and a little excitement.
I like music, I like to cook, read, spend time with family and friends, clear my head by writing silliness and participating in intense online Scrabble matches (thank you Facebook). My favorite things include polite children, Starbuck's, people that don't take themselves too seriously, things that make me laugh, bursts of creativity, bubble baths and Prozac.
