Putting my face on
You know what I have never blogged about? Makeup! (as in cosmetics)
I am a big fan of makeup because I have uneven skin tone and too much pink in my skin. Also because it makes me pretty. Who can argue with that?
Anyway- for the longest I was a Clinique girl, until I discovered the wonder of Bare Minerals...love it.
However- it came to my attention that there is a reputable brand of makeup that, get this, sells their products for A DOLLAR a pop. They are in all kinds of beauty mags and fashion mags, so I figured, for A DOLLAR, why not give them a shot?
I ordered about 20 bucks worth of stuff, which for A DOLLAR a piece, that's a lot of new makeup.
It should be coming in the next couple of days. Stay tuned for my review of e.l.f.
Now when I say a dollar, I mean literally a dollar. Everything. From powder to mascara to lip gloss...a buck. I did order a couple of facial products like a powder or something, but chances are I will stick to Bare Minerals for that stuff because of my sensitive skin. We'll see.
Can a $1 makeup product stand the test of this picky make-up lady? Who knows, but it was worth $20 to find out. (And I got half price shipping. Deal!)
