Last night, I fell in love. (again)

We danced. We laughed. We kissed. We hugged. He picked me up and spun me around like a princess. We got in a fight with a girl that has cancer. And the best part, neither of us seemed to mind that he's gay.

Spine language.
Sadly I cannot take credit for that masterpiece of a joke. It was on my (slow-melting) popsicle stick. Cherry.
First things first: Did you vote today? Honestly, I wasn't planning on it. I know, that is horrible. BUT...the thing is...I pretty much don't like anyone that is running so I don't particularly much care who gets the bid. (Only because it was a primary. I don't have that attitude for an election.) Then as I was on my way home from dropping LG off at school and going back and forth with myself about should I vote yes, no, yes, no, yes, no... The Concord Baptist Church marquee spoke to me.
Normally I get a little giggle out of the various church marquee sprouts of wisdom they like to share with the world like "JESUS: Your get out of hell free card." or "Happy Hour Here Every Sunday!" or "PRAYER: Wireless access. No roaming."
Sigh.
Anyway...today's message? "MANY PEOPLE DIED FOR YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE"
Yeah...that got me. I went straight to the polls. I might not like my choices but at least I have one.
I considered a write-in for Clinton Kelly but I figured that wouldn't go over well. Makeovers for all! America: the land of fashion. We love a red, white and blue shoe! Not only will we all be well-dressed we could put an end to that gay marriage issue afterall.
Moving on. Thanks to everyone for your kind words yesterday...most of you anyway. You were very supportive during my day of hellish parenting. Today has been much better. Probably because he has been at school all day. (Where he peed in the potty. Praise the Lord.) I just had an idea for the marquee!
Tonight I'm going out to dinner with my neighbor friend. Should be fun. No boys. No kids.
