2 posts in one day? What am I, crazy?

Just posting some pictures.

mostly_irish wanted to see my hydrangeas:

 

I don't have much of a green thumb, so I am going to do some reading about these beauties so hopefully they will flourish, unlike my very sad aloe plant.




Believe it or not, I have had this guy since Hub and I bought our first house in 2000. Yes, it is as small and pitiful as it appears in this picture.  Hub felt sorry for it not too long ago so he re-potted it. It has grown a little since then. Mostly though- it is half dead, much like my sister thinks of me.  Half dead means half alive...half alive for 8 years? Maybe I do have a green thumb. Or maybe that is just the gangrene on the black thumb? Oh, and in case you are wondering, yes, those are mushrooms growing out of my aloe plant. Go figure.

Next picture: Our deck! It's obviously a work in progress. Here is less than half of the beginning of it.



Just for good measure, here is a cute picture of el Capitan de Destructo. He got a haircut. :)



Oh!... and this one was on the front page of the paper last week!! (brag)
